Meet Dave Tingle
My fellow residents of Edison,
My name is David Tingle and for over 28 years, service has been the cornerstone of my life. As a Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force Reserve and a Lieutenant in the Edison Police Department, I have dedicated my career to protecting our nation and ensuring the safety of our community. Today, I am humbled to announce my candidacy for Mayor of Edison, driven by that same unwavering commitment to serving others.
My journey began with a call to serve our country. I enlisted in the Air Force, rising through the ranks to become a Chief Master Sergeant — a testament to my dedication and leadership. My deployments to Afghanistan, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Germany, often as a Phoenix Raven Team Leader, instilled in me the importance of courage, decisiveness, and always putting the safety and well-being of others first.
My commitment to service didn't end on the battlefield. As a Lieutenant in the Edison Police Department, I have spent more than two decades responding to emergencies, mentoring young officers, and guarding the streets we all call home.
Beyond my professional duties, I have served as a coach for youth football, baseball, and basketball, witnessing firsthand the power of mentorship and teamwork in shaping young minds.
As an active member of the American Legion and VFW, I work tirelessly to support my fellow veterans, ensuring they receive the respect and resources they deserve.
Now, I am answering a new call to serve — this time, as your Mayor. My experience has equipped me with the skills and perspective needed to tackle the challenges facing our town
This election is about more than politics — it is about choosing a leader who shares our values, who will protect our families, and who understands the meaning of sacrifice.

My name is Samiksha Sharmas, and I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Edison Council as part of the People's Choice 2025 ticket alongside David Tingle.
As the founder of SAMAYA, I have organized cultural and community-building events increasing participation by 30% while uplifting women and promoting cultural pride.
As a Senior Data/Business Intelligence Analyst, I have driven a 20% sales increase through strategic collaboration, while my two decades as a yoga instructor in Edison have supported wellness and community growth.
I am eager to serve and make a positive impact in Edison.

At EAS, I eliminated debt, grew brand visibility, and led projects like PAINT MY PIANO and the HOME TOWN HEROES banners while collaborating with all community sectors.
I am eager to continue fostering economic growth and community engagement in Edison.
