Make Edison Affordable Again

Edison has become too expensive for working families, seniors, and young people trying to build their future here. We’ll bring in experienced project managers to oversee township jobs, making sure projects stay on time and on budget. No more bloated contracts or delays that waste your tax dollars. We’ll also conduct a full audit of spending and prioritize investments that actually benefit residents—like fixing roads, improving schools, and cutting down on costly inefficiencies.

Affordability isn't just about taxes—it's about making sure every dollar is used wisely and every decision is made with residents in mind.

Edison's infrastructure has been neglected for too long. Our plan is to make sustainable, forward-thinking upgrades to our roads, utilities, and public spaces that don’t just fix what’s broken—but actually move Edison into the future. That starts with smarter roadwork—using materials that last longer, reduce flooding, and improve safety.

We'll coordinate road construction with utility repairs so we aren't wasting money tearing up the same street twice. Our utilities will be modernized to reduce leaks, lower maintenance costs, and improve reliability, including exploring renewable energy options and investing in systems that are more resilient to storms.

Public spaces, from parks to town buildings, will be upgraded to be more inclusive, energy efficient, and accessible to all residents. Whether it’s better lighting, cleaner water, or shaded walkways for families and seniors, every improvement we make will be focused on long-term value, not short-term appearances.

These projects will be managed responsibly, with real oversight and clear timelines—because taxpayers deserve to see results, not delays and excuses.

Our veterans and seniors have earned more than just our gratitude—they deserve real, tangible support. That’s why we’re committed to delivering dedicated services, targeted tax relief, and community programs that recognize their sacrifices and ensure they can thrive here in Edison.

For veterans, that means expanding access to housing assistance, connecting them with job training and mental health resources, and streamlining local support through a centralized veteran services office.

For our seniors, we’ll work to freeze property taxes for those on fixed incomes, expand senior transportation options, and invest in more accessible community spaces and recreational programs that promote healthy aging.

We’ll also work with state and county partners to make sure Edison is maximizing every available resource and grant. This isn’t just about doing what’s right—it’s about making sure those who helped build our community can afford to stay and feel valued every step of the way.

With crime up 70%, it's time to get serious about public safety. That means putting more real officers on the streets—actually patrolling, not just parked for show. No more blow-up dolls in cruisers or empty trailers posing as substations. We need modern equipment, robust staffing, and fair benefits for the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect us. Public safety isn’t a PR stunt—it’s a priority.

We need to get responsible with our town’s budget—plain and simple. Edison operates with a $175 million budget, yet year after year, we see wasteful spending, rising debt, and little to show for it. We’re one of the highest-taxed towns in the state, even though we’re home to one of the largest business parks in the country, generating serious revenue.

So why are residents still footing the bill for bloated projects and mismanaged priorities? Take the Jets practice field—what started as a modest investment has ballooned past $17 million. That’s more than triple what was originally planned. It’s time to stop bonding the town into unnecessary debt, demand transparency, and make sure our tax dollars are working for us—not against us.
